Want to get better productivity?            Want to be able to see where your vehicle is?

Autotracking is a Healesville based business which is able to provide you with Vehicle and Asset tracking, this can save your business money.  With our system installed in your vehicle productivity is increased along with customer service.

The Autotracking website is easy to use and we invite you to log on with our test login to see a "live vehicle".  Once in the website follow the "web portal login" then enter Username: test and Password: test@123.

These systems are ideal to provide you with real time arrival to jobs and to prove you were at the job at a particular time.  The system logs to the server every 45 seconds and keeps these records for over 6 months.

There is a one time cost of the unit at $420+GST and the monitoring is just $1+GST per day. The units are easy to install and there are no other costs involved, all you need is a computer and an internet connection.  All logging of the system and access to the autotracking website is included in the monitoring fee.

Please call or email for more information.

JUST A FEW WORDS ...

Things have been a bit hectic here in the office for the last few weeks while Heather has been off on holidays through Central Australia, what a way to beat the cold and rain !  But Steve and I have been plugging on giving local support to local people.

I have had a fantastic response from the letters I have been sending out to keep the directory up to date.  The responses have been varied, with many people taking up the option of putting a link to their website, for just $50 per year it's a great way to promote your business and help with search engine listings at the same time, a few businesses have taken up the option of a profile page, which is also great value and gives you so many benefits without going all the way to having your own website, just as importantly people have been updating their details, this is so important, it helps people find you with the correct information but also keeps the directory up to date and useable.

Thank you so much to those people that have returned their forms, if you have one and haven't yet returned it, please send it back to me as soon as you can.  I still have lots of letters to send out, so if you haven't received one yet, don't worry you probably still will, but you can also change or update your details from the front page of the Healesville Biz Directory.

Until the next newsletter, take care and enjoy the Spring !

GRAFFITI REMOVAL WHEELIE BIN

Healesville Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Shire of Yarra Ranges have started a new initiative to reduce the amount of graffiti we have around our streets.

Located behind the IGA store is a wheelie bin that can be borrowed by anyone wanting to get rid of graffiti off buildings, fences, windows, just about anywhere really.  This bin contains graffiti removal chemicals, paint brushes, bins, goggles and gloves to safely get rid of the graffiti.

If you would like to use the bin please contact Michael at IGA on 5962 6144

If you would like to get a group together as a community service, to remove large areas of graffiti, there is available within the shire a trailer graffiti removal kit, it has a few extra things in it to make it easier for larger areas. It would be fantastic to clean up Healesville and keep it graffiti free !

If you are interested in borrowing the trailer please contact Merrin Auldist from the Shire on 9294 6716.

COMMUNITY 3777

Community 3777 is an energetic group of people who are passionate about making things happen in our community.  They are looking for new members to help make Healesville a vibrant and up to date place to be.

The AGM is to be held on the 6th September, 7pm at the Living and Learning Centre.  Due to the impact of the bushfires last years AGM was not held.  Changes to the constitution will be presented to make the group more representative of the organisations in town and easier for these groups to come along and get involved.

A revamp of the constitution is planned, to encourage new members to attend meetings and contribute their ideas.  The meeting will then be more representative of the membership, greater networking can take place and cross pollination of ideas can be facilitated.

Some of the significant projects Community 3777 have initiated are, The BMX Track upgrade, Car Torque in partnership with Rotary, The Healesville Men's Shed, The Town Entrance Project and the Green Street Toilet Upgrade.

If you feel you have something to contribute and would like to join this group, you would be welcome at the AGM or you can contact Karen Kisala at the Living and Learning Centre on 5962 5982.

HEALESVILLE BENDIGO BANK

Time to turn the dream into reality! Purchase your shares NOW.

The Prospectus is now available.  Anyone who pledged their support should have received their Prospectus.  The directors are hand delivering to all the pledges we have on our pledge list.

The launch of the Prospectus means that you can now purchase shares in the Healesville & District Community Enterprise Ltd.  Shares are $1.00 each, you can purchase a minimum of 500 up to 20,000.  anyone interested who had not registered their support can still purchase shares.  The share application form is available on our web site www.healesvillecommunitybank.com

We are excited to announce this next stage in the journey of having our own community bank.  As soon as we start making a profit we will be able to give funds to the community via our own Community Foundation.  If other towns can make it happen in other parts of the Yarra Valley, we can make it happen here.  Show your support, buy some shares and when we open, (by early next year) bring your banking over to your own local bank.
